Education / Outreach

Dunja is passionate about music education and believes that classical music should be introduced to children without prejudice of what the society might choose to label it. Children enjoy music on an innocent level with an open mind. Dunja believes that taking classical music out of the concert halls and bringing it to children can help them relate to it without the barrier that the association with the classical concert venue environment can create.

Whilst a student at Royal College of Music, Dunja opted in to study Education and Outreach as part of her degree, which is how putting her passion for bringing music to children initially began to be put to practice.

Since then, Dunja has visited and worked with numerous schools, given lessons, masterclasses and workshops, adjudicated schools' music competitions and given special concerts for children. Photographs below were taken at such occasions.
